Kachelmacher Park is a picnic style park located in downtown Logan, Ohio. The park was donated to the City of Logan by Nils Louis Christian Kachmacher to be used solely as a public park in 1917. The park consists of 3 large shelter houses that may be used free by the public for parties or gatherings. The availability of these shelters houses are on a first come first serve basis.
Kachelmacher Park Rehab Project ’14-’15
The Logan Rotary Club, City of Logan, and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources have teamed up to revitalize the aging park to be a proud symbol of our community. We have received a grant to purchase a new piece of playground equipment, but we don’t want to stop there. We need your help! Only through donations and volunteer man & woman power can we make this project a success.
A permanent donation wall is to be erected at the park with any individual or company that donates money, material, or manpower to the project. A digital donor wall will be created on this website as well. Please visit the Donate page to learn more.
